Former Chilean visual artist Andres Bucci began producing music while living in Berlin. He continued working on a solo carrier under the alias Chord and as a member of Plan V, playing regularly in Chile and Argentina.
Martin Schopfs (aka Dandy Jack) record label Ruta 5 invited him to participate in the Austral project: a compilation including Atom Heart, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano and Daniel Nieto. In 2002 he met Kate Simko in Santiago, and quickly the duo released the stunning Shapes of Summer album for German label Traum.
In 2006 Cynosure released his Don Julios Converseria EP and in 2007 the Seattle Label Kupei Musika released the second Detalles album Micros morning as well as a solo 12" named "Chocopanda" with a remix of Dandy Jack. In 2008 Horizontal label owned by Chilean producer Dinky released the EP "Avec Style" as Bucci. Currently Bucci is based in Santiago and also in Berlin working on his forthcoming EP and 2011 tour.
