Having patiently spun records for over a decade and producing for over 3 years, Chase Buch is now getting his long deserved attention. An avid buyer of vinyl since the age of 8 with a deep-seated passion for music, he is what you might call a vinyl junkie. With countless original productions, edits, and remixes to his credit, Chase always has something fresh in his record box.
He first started drawing attention after gaining residency at one of South London's only House Music venue, "The Park Avenue". It was here that he began to hone his craft, often playing extended sets 2 or 3 times a week. It wasn't long before he started receiving invitations to spin at the more major clubs in London such as Turnmills, Egg and the Cross. In no time he was snapped up by British party promoters "No Disko", where he held a year residency. Whilst at No Disko he held his own alongside many industry giants including Simian Mobile Disco, Switch, Brodinski, Loco Dice, Claude Von Stroke, Luciano and Radio Slave. Chase's love for house and his wide ranging music style has enabled him to be picked and play at many different kinds of parties in the UK and around the globe, from events such as Creamfields, Global Gatering, Love Parade, Gallery, Indigo, T Bar, Herbal and Egg. Outside of London, Chase has been working clubs over Spain, Turkey and Italy. He is regular in Amsterdam, Ibiza, Istanbul and Berlin.
While spinning his vinyl at the club scenes, Chase's radio career started when he has been invited to do a weekly slot on Dinamo fm. This show became a huge underground success with listeners in a short period of time. He still hosts this weekly show and shares his platform by bringing worldwide guest DJs.
Besides playing at the clubs and his radio show, He has also launched his own label, "FHD Recordings" in the UK in 2006 with singles from artists such as Ahmet Sendil, Medu, Tala and Subsky as well as himself. Not surprisingly, DJs across the board have been playing his tracks out including Sandy Rivera, Booka Shade, Richie Hawtin, Luciano and DJ T.
As a DJ, Chase can rock small underground clubs to massive arenas. His technique has impressed many crowds and his style remains fresh and exciting without limiting himself to only one line.
So what is the Chase Buch sound? In his own words;
"Everything from Tech House to Minimal." and he continues; "I try to put a lot of energy into everything I do. All my records are about non-stop energy but I also love vocals. They're my specialty. When I'm DJing I behave like I do in the studio, jumping around and dancing as if I was one of the punters in the crowd."
Currently Chase is recording his new single for "Kote Records", focusing on his label and of course launching himself as our newest resident after winning the Next Generation competition.
