The name Autodeep may not be very familiar to many, but the two protagonists are beyond anything but greenhorns. Ulli Hammann and Hagen Pfennigstorf have had a look back over 10 years experience in the music business as DJs, producers, party promoters and club owners in various project constellations.
Other hand, is quite chilly rediscovered their love for contemporary house and techno sound. The origins of this love back to their teenage years in the early 90s, where they met on an underground techno event in her hometown of Hanover. The raw, deep and kompromomisslose Chicago and Detroit sound that at times characterizes it today.
Autodeep
In 2008 the two founded after her label Love Hertz establish an independent outlet for their own productions, and other talented newcomer. There she published under the name Haterboy & Van Hagen various techno-oriented tracks and remixes, which are much more quickly into the playlists of renowned DJs such as Timo Maas, Toni Rios, Anderson Noise, Tom Pooks, D-Nox & Beckers, Remute, Tomcraft rediscovered . Today is her Love Hertz label an established and recognized focal point for lovers of quality underground club sounds.
Mid 2009 to drag the pair back into the studio for their new project Autodeep lift was to be baptized. The Autodeep sound ranges from deep house and tech house with a good portion of funk. The first fruits of this process are now being harvested, with releases on renowned labels such as Barcelona's Galaktika Records, the legendary Night Drive Music imprint and the Miami-based deep house label Grouper Rec. For 2010, the two have plenty of fresh material in the pipeline and are already negotiating with other top international labels in the conversation!
As a DJ team can offer a unique performance with lots of loops, effects and a multi-faceted sound between deep / tech house and minimal techno-groovy.
